Building the Venue at Runtime

This week, Prevision gained a more flexible way to start a session. Previously, the runtime was locked to the venue included when it was exported. Prevision can now open on a blank level and import a venue model while the application is running.

The new workflow accepts .glb, .fbx, and .obj files. OBJ import is available, though it is not the recommended format. Once a model is loaded, users can spawn general lights to illuminate the space. Broader LX work remains in progress.

The runtime venue task carried a six-hour estimate. It changes a basic part of the workflow: teams can bring a venue into a running session instead of committing to one at export time. It also gives the Scenic Tool work from the previous release a more useful place to go.

Two fixes accompanied the venue work. We resolved a gizmo bug and corrected a remote-opening issue involving exposure and a zoom value of zero.

Prevision v0.33.11 makes the runtime less dependent on a preselected venue. Model import and basic lighting are now available together, establishing a foundation for continued venue and LX work.
